Crude Sunflower Oil vs Refined Sunflower Oil: Complete Buyer's Comparison Guide

Buyer questions answered

What is the practical difference for a buyer?

Crude sunflower oil is unrefined and intended for buyers who operate their own refinery or who need feedstock. Refined (RBD) sunflower oil has been refined, bleached and deodorised, so it is ready for food manufacturing, frying or bottling without further processing.

Which one should I order?

If you have refining capacity, crude is usually the lower landed cost per tonne. If you are a food manufacturer, packer or distributor, RBD is what you need.

Can I order both on one shipment?

Yes. Mixed parcels can be arranged where volumes and packaging formats allow.

What are the commercial terms?

We quote FOB or CIF to a named port under Incoterms 2020. Payment is by bank transfer (T/T) in EUR or USD, and lead time is typically 7 to 14 days from order confirmation.

How to source this grade

Buyers comparing suppliers can contract refined (RBD) sunflower oil from us with full export documentation on every shipment. Where you do the refining yourself, ask about crude sunflower oil before refining.
